Can be a bit difficult to sharpen. Loses razor edge quickly but keeps a working edge for a while. Cruwear is my favorite pm2 at the moment. Gets sharp a bit easier.

Z-max has less C, Cr, Co, W, and V than Maxamet. Z-max also has 5% Mo while Maxamet has none. They’ll be similar, but Maxamet may edge Z-Max out in the raw wear resistance category.

I also know the PM2 is a far better slicer than the 940, but the 940 is an awesome working blade.
