I wanted to cross-compile gstreamer application from linux host system. Since native aarch64-linux-gnu-gcc is unable to find gstreamer-1.0 libraries, I decided build the SDK with required libraries using bitbake fsl-image-validation-imx -c populate_sdk.

What it DOES show is the same stuff that is ending up in GLIB_CFLAGS variable in the top level Makefile created after ./configure is run. It does look rather borked to me, not only in that it does not point to glib-2.0, but also that it leads nowhere near /usr/include.
