Web30 de ago. de 2010 · I will have to higbee the first thread. What angle should I turn on the blank prior to starting the thread. IE 60° thread would start with a 45° chamfer from just under the minor to the major. But, what about an Acme? Should I just run a 29° since I'm going to higbee it, or still cut a 45° lead-in chamfer?
